I love seeing how much the Dallas fitness scene has grown over the years. You can find a studio for just about anything you want. Whether it’s cycling, pilates, bootcamp, HIIT, yoga, or some cool new concept, there’s something for everyone. Here are 10 new fitness studios and concepts that just opened or are opening soon in Dallas! Keep an eye out for opening dates, specials, and events!

CycleBar Uptown is the new kid on the block, bringing their own spin (pun intended) on the cardio-intense dance classes on bikes.

I LOVED the Addison studio with it’s sexy vibe and all the fun classes. You can check out my review here. Excited to see they are opening a second location in Frisco. Choose from Pound or Hip Hop Step our their Funkie Fit classes. Lots of fun options. You can sign up for a free two week pass when they open here.
City Crew is an indoor rowing studio built around rowing intervals and strength training. They offer 4 different class formats that offer both cardio and strength building. Check it out for the first two weeks unlimited for $49. The classes are low-impact and form-centric which will reduce the risk of injury while still providing a top-notch workout.

9Round offers a 30-minute total body workout with kickboxing inspired exercises. There are 9 stations (exercises) in the gym and the concept boasts no class times at all. You just show up and start the circuit at your convenience (with supervision of the instructor of course). Your first time is free.

Dallas gets its’ first Barry’s Bootcamp! The unique concept brings a bootcamp class that utilizes treadmills and weights for a high intensity interval training class where you can burn up to 1,000 calories. Beyond Studios is expected to open in December. The signature Pilates ReMix class combines legendary fitness techniques with pumping tempo-specific music to create a full-body workout on their customized reformer, a.k.a. The Bed. They will also offer child supervision during select class times beginning in January. Beyond is also planning a fun weekend January 18-20 with special guest instructors, retail trunk shows, and in-studio events as part of their grand opening celebration.

The newest barre concept is expected to open in Preston Hollow early next year. Xtend Barre offers a full body workout that combines both Pilates and elements of dance. Xtend Barre focuses on movements of the whole body, not just tiny muscle movements. Try class formats such as Xtend Barre, Xtend Suspend, Xtend Stick, and Circuit 7.

Orangetheory is opening it’s newest location on Knox/Henderson later this year. The concept combines treadmills, rowing machines, and weights for a total body interval training where every workout is different each time. Track your progress and calorie burn during class with a heart rate monitor and burn an average of 500-1000 calories per class.
