6 Dallas Fitness Events to Know About

Spring is fast approaching and that means some of Dallas’ coolest events are happening. I’ve put together a short list of awesome events you should check out in March and April.

All Out Trinity’s Yoga on the Bridge – Saturday, March 5th @ 1pm

The All Out Trinity is an all day fitness festival put on by the Trinity Commons Foundation and City of Dallas Trinity Corridor Project. Whether it’s a 5K, bike ride,  dog walk, there’s so many options to choose from. My personal favorite is Yoga on Bridge at 1pm. The class takes place on the beautiful Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. It’s an amazing experience to have with friends and is open to beginners and families. I’ve been every single year and never miss it. Here’s a recap from last year’s event, if you’re curious.

Free Women’s Self Defense Seminar – Saturday, March 5th @ 10am

Chamberlain Studios' Free Self Defense Workshop-March 5th

Take a free hands on basic self defense seminar at Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense in Lakewood. It’s open to the public and a great way to learn how to protect yourself. After attending a couple of lessons myself, it’s an incredibly empowering class and Professor Chamberlain’s does a fantastic job of simplifying techniques. Find more details on the event here.

Athleta’s Friends and Family Event with Deep Fried Fit – Saturday, March 12 @ 9am

Join me March 12th, Saturday morning at 9am for a FREE restorative yoga class taught by Yoga Fit. I’m excited to partner with Athleta at Stonebriar Mall once again. After class, be sure to stick around to enjoy sips and bites from my friends at Ty Ku sake, prizes and more. Also, take advantage of 25% off your entire purchase just for coming. If you happen to miss it, stop by anytime between March 10-14 and just mention Deep Fried Fit or Yoga Fit for the same discount. Stonebriar location only. RSVP here.
