I was recently selected by the Movemeant Foundation to be one of their Dare to Bare Ambassadors and I’m so excited to share it with you!
Jenny Gaither created the Movement Foundation to encourage women to get moving, be daring and start loving their bodies. She has an incredible story that started with dance, a struggle with her body image that eventually pushed her to confront her own insecurities. I was so moved by her story, because I know so many people (including myself) struggle with how we love our body everyday. The words “bikini season” should NOT be as terrifying as they sound.
Being a Dare to Bare Ambassador, I will hosting challenges for the next six months that will push me out of my own comfort zone and I hope you will join me on these challenges. Deep Fried Fit was originally created to help prepare people, in a way, to get out of their comfort zones. Whether it’s trying a restaurant or cuisine that is very out-of-the-norm for a Friday date night or a fitness class that looks crazy terrifying, but with a little bit of insight, could be fun.
During my fitness journey, it’s taken me time to get stronger, to feel better about myself, and to see results that I was happy with. I have the opportunity to show you what freaks me out and what makes me uncomfortable. I’ll also be hosting challenges that I hope speaks to you and will inspire you to be brave and participate. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see what challenges I’m hosting and jump in on it too.
Looking forward to kicking some serious butt with you all!
XOXO,
Mai Lyn
