#Sweatworking

#Sweatworking is an event series by aSweatLife.com launched in early 2014 that’s meant to help you do two things at once that are pivotal for your health and happiness: try new things and meet new people. And it’s by design that they rotate gyms and ask you to shake a hand or two while you’re at an event. You’ll walk away with a buddy and a snack.

Want to show up with a friend? They price tickets so that you’ll save some money by grabbing tickets with a buddy.

Goat Yoga – State Fair of Texas

Join The Deep Ellum Yoga team as they showcase Goat Yoga at The State Fair of Texas. DFA Turns 2

DFA is turning 2 and you’re invited to our epic birthday bash. We’ll be sweating to an awesome Cowboys Fit bootcamp style workout on the Tostitos Championship Plaza at The Star in Frisco. Work-out is for adults (or children at least 12years of age and up). There is also child care available for younger children as well. After class, take a load off and enjoy refreshments and light bites. This is a family friendly event, so feel free to bring the family and kiddos for a fun football themed post workout party.

Zen Chat: Let’s Talk About Fear

Shack Track & Field Dallas

Open to all ages and abilities, Shack Track & Field hosts free community runs on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Best part: your first drink back at the Shack is on the house!

Meet at Shake Shack Dallas (2500 N Pearl St. Dallas, TX 75201) for a 3-5 mile out and back loop along the Katy Trail. They’ll lock your gear up tight at the Shack so it’s waiting for you when you get back.

Autobahn BMW 5k Social Run (Trinity Park)

Each of your local Dallas/Fort Worth BMW Centers will be hosting a 5K Social Run in the coming months. It’s a great way to fine-tune your performance and meet fellow runners.

Not only that, but if you participate in one of the BMW 5K Social Runs plus the 2017 BMW Dallas Marathon or Half Marathon, you’ll be entered to win one (1) VIP race entry to the 2018 BMW Berlin Marathon, including flight vouchers, three night’s accommodation and access to the BMW official race hospitality area for two people.*

As our name suggests, the EPC is open to everyone. So, come test your fitness and rep your gym, box or crew. And, if you’re a free agent, that’s cool too. Bring it.

Smudge Stick Curating and Meditation

Please V12 Yoga for a fun workshop as we open up to the power of meditation and energy cleaning using your newly created smudge sticks. We live our daily lives with such a focus on the mind and on our thoughts, that we lose the sacred connection between the mind, body, and soul. The breath is the thread that links them all, and is the life force itself.

This workshop will help the participants reach into the deeper self and explore that connection – both through movement, a mantra meditation, and through cleansing with sage and other yummy refreshing plant elements.
